Three distinct programmes. Each one rooted in real farm work. Find the one that fits your group and take the next step.
Zawadi Farm is a TDSB-approved vendor offering farm visits, hands-on growing workshops, and curriculum-linked programming for JK through Grade 12.
Come and work the land. Real farm tasks — planting, weeding, harvesting, bed preparation. For individuals, community groups, and organisations wanting to build with their neighbours.
Connect your team to land, food, and community in a way that is substantive — not performative. Real farm work, real context about food sovereignty, real impact.

TDSB School Inquiry →Volunteer days at Zawadi Farm are rooted in real farm work. You are not helping with a programme — you are contributing directly to the farm that feeds this community. What a volunteer day looks like: — Arrive at 160 Downsview Park Blvd — A brief orientation on the farm and its mission — 3–4 hours of hands-on work: planting, weeding, harvesting, bed preparation, composting — A farm lunch or break (depending on session) Who this is for: individuals, community groups, faith communities, student clubs, and organisations looking to build with their neighbours rather than donate from a distance. Volunteer days run through the growing season, May to November. Fill in the form to register your group or express individual interest.

CSR at Zawadi Farm is not a photo opportunity. It is a day of real work, real context, and a real connection to what it takes to grow food with dignity in the city.
Your team works in the growing beds alongside our farmers. They learn what no-till means, why soil health matters, and what food sovereignty looks like in practice — not in a presentation, but in the ground.
What a CSR day can include: — Half day (3–4 hours) or full day of farm work — Facilitated discussion on food systems and regenerative agriculture — Catering and use of The Barn at Zawadi Farm (optional, quoted separately) — Bespoke programming for teams with specific CSR objectives — Impact summary for CSR reporting Groups of 10–60+. Custom formats available. Pricing quoted on request.
Every CSR day directly supports the farm’s mission: growing food, building community, and restoring dignity in the city. That is not a tagline on a wall. It is where your team will spend their day.
